Personal Vision Writing

Your personal vision statement guides your life and provides the direction necessary for the choices you will make about every area of your life. Think of your personal vision statement as the light shining in the darkness that illuminates your life path. We help you write a vision statement as the first step in focusing your life. It will help you identify what will bring you joy, what you will accomplish, what will be your contribution to the world, and what you will leave as your legacy.

Your vision statement is the anchor point for your life. It is the roadmap to where you want to go. The vision statement reveals, at the highest levels, what you hope to be and achieve in the long term. Your statement should leave nothing open to interpretation, however it should have ambition. If it is immediately achievable, it is not a vision.

We will have sessions to help you:

  1. Get a picture of your vision or the change you want to make in your life.
  2. Identify your passion, your natural gifts, and your talents.
  3. Find your path to see your vision happen.
  4. Determine your current mindset and beliefs that have impacted your success/failures.
  5. Recognize the specific obstacles, bad habits, or decisions that are continually in your way.
  6. Define what you need to do to remove barriers.
  7. Do so much more that you are currently doing

Setting Goals

It may seem as if setting a goal is easy. But in order to be successful you have to make sure the goals you set are smart. We help you set personal goals to achieve objectives that will make you the best version of yourself. We do this by working with you through a systematic process that involves thought, determination and ultimately execution.

We help you set personal goals to achieve objectives that will make you the best version of yourself. We do this by working with you through a systematic process that involves thought, determination and ultimately execution.

You can get your ideas from brainstorming, praying, journaling and a wide variety of places. As long as it is just an idea, it is not a goal. We use the S. M. A.R. T. goal approach where we take your idea and process through the steps to create a plan for your success. Those steps are making sure it is:

  1. Specific  – The more specific you get with your goal, the more you’ll understand the steps necessary to achieve it.
  2. Measurable – Setting milestones along the way will give you the opportunity to re-evaluate if what you are doing is working and change the game plan if it is not.
  3. Achievable – Setting goals, you can reasonably accomplish, will help keep you motivated and focused. Setting a goal that is outside of your reach will only create frustration and hopelessness.
  4. Relevant and realistic – When setting goals for yourself, consider whether or not they are important to you and align with your values and larger, long-term goals for your life.
  5. Timely – An end-date can help provide motivation and help you prioritize.

Step 1: Find time. You need to break away from your day-to-day duties and responsibilities and dream about what you want to accomplish.

Step 2: Clarify your values. What do you value most in your life?

Step 3: Create your mission statement.

Step 4: Do a SWOT analysis on yourself.

Step 5: Create your goals.

Step 6: Determine what support you need to stay accountable to your plan.

How To Make A Decision

Through our consulting sessions, we help you consider your objective, strengths, and weaknesses. By answering our questions, you can better articulate what you want to see happen in your life.

This doesn't mean going into detail about how you will live your life everyday, but rather what makes you who you are. We will help you be succinct and clear with your definition.

Unfortunately, we often describe ourselves in relation to other people. Identifying what we don’t have as opposed to what we do have. That is not a good thing.

Though you may want to change some things about who you are, remember there are people who appreciate what you bring to the table.

1. Specific
2. Measurable
3. Achievable
4. Relevant
5. Time-bound
